Our role as your distributor includes:

Distribution Costs

We maintain a transparent fee structure:

Label Artistes

​

Annual Handling Fee: US $55.50 per artiste

​

This fee covers the administrative and technical costs of delivering and maintaining releases across digital platforms. Label artistes receive preferred internal pricing as part of their affiliation with H.O.F.

In addition to the handling fee, label artistes operate under a royalty split structure based on their agreement with the label:

• 70/30 or 60/40 split (in favor of the artiste)
  The exact split depends on the level of support, marketing and investment provided by H.O.F.

 

This structure ensures partnership alignment — when the artiste grows, the label grows.

 

Independent Artistes

Annual Distribution Fee: US $79.99 per artiste

​

Independent clients who use H.O.F. strictly for distribution gain access to our infrastructure without entering into a traditional label agreement.

This package includes:

• Unlimited digital releases

• Metadata oversight

• Platform delivery

• Distribution administration

• Royalty reporting access

 

Independent artistes retain their rights and creative control.

Royalty Structure

​

Digital distribution primarily collects master recording income — revenue generated from streams and downloads of the sound recording.

​

For label artistes, master royalties are shared according to the agreed split.

​

For independent distribution clients, artistes retain their master income subject only to the annual distribution fee.

Publishing Administration (Optional Add-On)

​

Digital distribution collects master royalties. However, songwriters also earn publishing royalties, which are separate from master income.

​

Publishing income includes:

​

• Performance royalties (from streaming, radio, and public performance)

• Mechanical royalties (from streaming and downloads)

• YouTube composition revenue

• Potential sync income

To ensure songwriters collect all of their earnings, H.O.F. offers optional:

Publishing Administration

Administration Fee: 15% of publishing income collected

Under this structure:

​

• Artists retain 85% of their publishing income

• H.O.F. registers compositions with appropriate collection societies

• We monitor and administer royalty collection

• We provide quarterly reporting alongside distribution statements

This service ensures that no songwriting income is left uncollected.

Payout Frequency

​

H.O.F. issues royalty reports and payouts quarterly.

Every three months, earnings are consolidated and distributed according to the applicable agreement. This schedule provides:
